Mallalieu Family of St. Kitts

The Mallalieu family fo St. Kitts is linked to the Cranstoun family of Antigua through many different links and is really quite complicated but I will try to show how it all works.

Ann Gerio Mallalieu married Samuel Richard Manchester Burt and they were the parents of Almira Manchester Burt who married her cousin Pierson Walton Dickinson.

Moses Menders Dickinson uncle to Alice Imogene Dickinson (you will be taken to Dickinson Family) married Mary Frederica Walton Mallalieu sister of Ann Gerio Mallalieu. Their son Pierson Walton Dickinson married his cousin Almira Manchester Burt and they had a daughter Mabel Isabel "Maisie" Dickinson who married Cecil Langford Malone, son of Walter Frederick Malone and Irene Evelina "Irenie" Cranstoun.

John Nicholas Faxivo "Jack" Mallalieu brother of Ann Gerio Mallalieu and Mary Frederica Walton Mallalieu married Alice Imogene Dickinson who was a cousin to Moses Menders Dickinson.

The son of John Nicholas Faxivo "Jack" Mallalieu and Alice Imogene Dickinson, Kenneth Vernon Mallalieu married Agnes Eulalie Marshall daughter of Burchell Marshall.

Hugh Sinclair Mallalieu another son of John Nicholas Faxivo "Jack" Mallalieu and Alice Imogene Dickinson married Helen Elise Margaret "Daisey" Semper who was the sister of Dudley Henry "Jack" Semper 1905–1982 who married Muriel Aileen Malone 1916–1996, daughter of Frederick Malone and Irene Evelina "Irenie" Cranstoun. "Daisey" Semper died and he married Mary Elaine Matheson who was the daughter of Donald F Matheson married Charlotte Isabel Mercer producing more family ties to the Semper family, Mercer family and Matheson family.

The Mallalieu family can be traced back to Thomas Marralew/Mallalieu who died around 1616 in Saddleworth, Yorkshire, England. Moving ahead to th 1800's we have:

Frederick Walton Mallalieu was the son of James Mallalieu 1760-1811 and Elizabeth Walton 1764-1819. They had ten children. Six sons and 4 daughters, Frederick was the fifth son and his children are as follows:

I spoke with Desmond two weeks before his death in 2014 and when I started asking questions he chuckled and said, “Boy, you know a lot, you’re raising old family sores there, I wish you good luck.”
